Occupants of a distant Barangay Capalangan in Apalit, Pampanga need not go far to the town's open market to purchase their fundamental nourishment needs — their floating market has it for them.
According to a GMA News report of Danny Pata, the floating market hooks at a part of the Pampanga Riverbank in the barangay each Tuesday and Thursday, and offers most of the basic food needs that their residents can buy.
It started in the barangay in late April to restrict the mobility of Capalangan residents, in Apalit town's drive to further prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019.
