LOOK: Cuddle Curtain in the UK, Used to Hug Loved Ones Amid Social Distancing Measures

A man in the United Kingdom has invented a Cuddle Curtain to hug loved ones as social distancing rule remains in place.

Antony Cauvin’s innovative concept serves as a solution to the distance COVID-19 has set to prevent the coronavirus from spreading, hence, keeping us away from our loved ones.

He has remodeled a shower curtain to look like a sweater with closed sleeves that looked like arms. That way he will be able to hug his grandmom without skin to skin contact, nor even breath.

His wife, Miriam Cauvin shared the video in their personal Facebook account that has now amassed 70k reactions and 173k shares.

Who could not relate to this "away magkapatid" meme that has gone trending on Facebook after it has been posted on Friday?

On a Facebook post by Mirtel Vergara, she captioned

"yung inaway mo kapated mo pero sya ung napagalitan😆ðŸĪŠ"

together with a picture of her sister Angela Encontro who's making faces telling everyone that's how she looks like when their parents scold her siblings after she starts a fight.


Unexpectedly, it has quickly gone viral and as of this writing, the post has now 7.6k reactions, 430 comments, and 65k shares.

Mirtel and Angela are siblings with Michaela "Maica" Encontro and 3 others. The trio sisters also have a Facebook page they call Vergara Sisters.

In his Instagram post today, May 1, 2020, Janno Gibbs reunited with his co-stars in "That's Entertainment" which he called "That's Quarantainment" to entertain the netizens by a throwback music video in the midst of the enhanced community quarantine.

They collaborated and sang their rendition of the 80's hit song "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now".

Manilyn was an on-screen partner with Janno Gibbs and Kimpee De Leon, while Romnick Sarmenta and Sheryl Cruz were a love team; and Monching Gutierrez and Tina Paner were paired.
