A man in the United Kingdom has invented a Cuddle Curtain to hug loved ones as social distancing rule remains in place.

Grandson and grandma using cuddle curtain amid COVID-19

Antony Cauvin’s innovative concept serves as a solution to the distance COVID-19 has set to prevent the coronavirus from spreading, hence, keeping us away from our loved ones.

He has remodeled a shower curtain to look like a sweater with closed sleeves that looked like arms. That way he will be able to hug his grandmom without skin to skin contact, nor even breath.

His wife, Miriam Cauvin shared the video in their personal Facebook account that has now amassed 70k reactions and 173k shares.

Good News: Covid 19 Treatment, Now Available by Doc Willie Ong

Remdesivir - Proven to Cure and Prevent COVID-19, Approved by US FDA by Doc Willie Ong

Doc Willie Ong's recent post on his Youtube channel revealed that a treatment to cure COVID-19 is now available and is US FDA approved.

Remdesivir underwent a scientific trial globally which was conducted by the US National Institutes of Health on 22 countries with more than a thousand patients and found to be very effective not just to cure but also to prevent the coronavirus disease.

Below are a few parts that were transcribed from the video post:

Good news po. Tunay po 'to hindi 'to fake news.

Ginawa 'to ng US National Institutes of Health, sila ang nag-gawa ng study...22 countries, 1 thousand plus pasyente.
Ibig sabihin, 4 days better. .05.

Magiging standard of care na 'to. Ibig sabihin basta pasyenteng may COVID, severe COVID nasa ospital, kailangan mong bigyan ng Remdesivir.

Pag Remdesivir, 11 days. At very significant sa 1 thousand plus. Mortality rate pagwalang Remdesivir 11.6%, ito 8% (Remdesivir) at 22 countries. U.S. I think 41 states at may 21 other countries sa Europe, sa Asia...at ang maganda dito, na-review siyang maigi. Mayroon pang Independent Data and Safety Monitoring Board.

7 Things to Do to Beat the Heat in the Midst of Lockdown

Let's beat the heat!

Let's beat the heat in summer
Summer really isn't over and the heat is still felt all throughout the Philippines. Despite the rain forecast and the approaching rainy season, the temperature is yet to go down. It's even harder since most parts of the Philippines are in lockdown due to the coronavirus. People are not allowed to go out to visit the mall and get some fresh, moist, and cold air.

But hey! The TGVO team is here to bring you some good vibes!

We've listed down 7 things that could help your body escape the burning heat of the sun. Let's beat the heat together!

  1. Drink Plenty of Water

On a humid and hot place, our body tends to sweat a lot even if we don't do anything that can cause mild to severe dehydration. Drinking plenty of water even before you feel thirsty helps our body to recover the fluid that's lost through sweating, while it also helps to lower our body temperature.

    1. Stay Cool

While drinking plenty of water lowers down our body temperature, staying cool by using a fan or air-conditioner also helps in keeping our temperature low enough for us to feel comfortable. Besides, it isn't only you who will benefit from using fans or air-conditioners but also the people who are stuck with you at home.

    2. Take a Shower

We know that the heat makes some people lazy but come on man, taking a bath or a shower isn't a hard thing to do. Although the main purpose why people have to take a bath daily is to get us to germ-free and clean, it also helps our body temperature go down. Another benefit of taking a cold bath is it energizes our body.
    3. Wear a hat or bring an umbrella when going outside

Being stuck at home without a fan or air-conditioner already makes us feel really hot. What more if we go outside without any protection? Using a hat and/or umbrella while walking under the heat of the sun helps to block the sun'ss rays. When using an umbrella, choose the one that is double coated and dark in color. The black one is the best as it absorbs most of the sun's rays. Isn't it great that umbrellas are used not only during the rainy season?
    4. Avoid soda or caffeinated drinks

According to a post on CBS Detroit, drinking soda or caffeinated drinks on a hot summer day is not advisable as it may trigger serious health problems. If you are someone with heart disease or respiratory problems, drinking soda is not good for you. Most of these drinks have multiple types of diuretics in them which cause you to lose a significant amount of water. Drinking a lot of water is still top of the list.
    5. Wear lightweight clothes

When choosing something to wear on a hot summer day, choose those that are light weighted and light in color. The best option is to wear something that's made of wool, cotton, and linen. Clothes that are pastel in color or those that are in the lighter end of the spectrum like beige, white, and gray are also the best as those absorb less sunray/heat than the dark ones.
    6. Eat cold foods like fruits and salad

Fruits don't just offer vitamins and minerals but also a source of water. The best example is watermelon, cantaloupe, melon, strawberry, and more. A cucumber that's mostly used in salads, on the other hand, has a cooling effect and cooling properties that do not just refreshes our body, but also good for the skin.

Kylie, Testing Stormi’s Patience with a Candy Challenge

    Stormi sings, "Patience, patience, patience."

    Kylie Jenner and Stormi image

The Kardashian-Jenner family is one of the famous families in the states. They are well-known for their make-up lines and reality tv show - Keeping up with the Kardashians that gained millions of followers throughout the years.

    The Kardashians image
Kylie Jenner, the youngest and a self-made billionaire has a two-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster. Stormi was born on February 1, 2018

Due to their family's popularity, Stormi has to face the camera at such a very young age as her cousins. You probably think that she does not have any rules to follow because of their lavish lifestyle. Well, you guess it wrong.

Kardashian moms are one of the strictest moms you’ll ever meet. Social media is one of the important things to them but that doesn’t hinder them from being a hands-on parent. Kim, Kourtney, Kylie, and Khloe has their own rules their kids need to follow. So Kylie and Travis Scott (Stormi’s Father) decided to test their daughter.

Kylie was secretly filming Stormi to test how patient she is on her recent Instagram post. Kylie talked to Stormi and said she can have three chocolates BUT she has to wait until Kylie comes back from the bathroom.

If you watch the video, Stormi was almost tempted to get some chocolates from the bowl but she stopped. You will hear her say or sing, "patience, patience, patience."

She's able to keep herself still and didn't run out of patience. When Kylie came back, Stormi was too excited that she can finally get her reward. Kylie asked if she waited and Stormi responded "Yeah." In the end, Kylie gave Stormi what she was promised.

    What a wonderful kid!

The video went viral with over 45 million views on Instagram and has trended in other social media platforms.

    One twitter user comment:

“If I’m pregnant by the end of the year, blame Kylie Jenner and her daughter Stormi!”

Despite all the riches their family has, Stormi could have everything to be a spoiled girl but Kylie wants it different. They may have millions of dollars and extravagant lifestyles but today, Kylie and Stormi taught us that it's not about the money but about the manner and education that you teach your children. Stormi could have easily grab the treats, but she followed her mom's order. She really has a lot of self-control and patience.

Michael Bublé Gives Home to His Grandfather's Filipina Caretaker

Michael Bublé, a Canadian singer fulfilled his grandfather's greatest wish which was to give his Filipina caretaker a home of her own.

In an episode of the HGTV program "Celebrity IOU," one of the hosts Drew Scott told Michael that when he was asked about the person he wanted to give back to the most, Michael's response was Minette. The Filipina caretaker who took good care of his grandfather in Vancouver.

"I hired Minette, the nurse, to come and live with him and by the end, (she) was his best friend," Michael told the Property Brothers' hosts, Jonathan and Drew Scott.

Michael additionally shared how Minette has been sending all the earnings she has made to help her family back in the Philippines.
"She’s really a special, beautiful woman," Michael said.
"I think my grandpa would be thrilled knowing that maybe we could lessen the burden a little bit, allowing Minnette to continue helping her family without it being so hard on her," he said.

And while Minette was taking a break in the Philippines, the Scott brothers helped Michael remodel his grandfather's house before they surprise her.

Michael knew that she doesn't like getting any attention so he had to sway Minette and told her that they were shooting a documentary about him and his grandpa.  Minette didn't have any hint that Michael was driving her to her newly-remodeled home.

When they got into the place, Minette was amazed about the new look of the house. And then got emotional when Michael told her the news.
"My grandfather, his greatest wish was not just that I kept this house in the family, but it was that this would be your home cause he loved you so much and so there is no documentary this is all for you," Michael said.
